J Nikolé is a rising contemporary R&B artist based in Los Angeles. With sweet, sultry vocals and a breathy falsetto, J Nikolé’s sound leans into a new wave of chill hip-hop and R&B. Her upcoming new single, ‘Rewind’, is set to drop in summer 2020. 


 

J Nikolé (real name Jade Woods) currently runs the “All About The Vibes Podcast”. She began her creative career working as a background actor and model before focusing on her craft as a music artist. The R&B singer-songwriter says: “The process of making music is very therapeutic to me. Knowing that someone somewhere will be able to relate to my music is really important.” 


 

Born in Michigan, J Nikolé was raised by her musician mother, who was always either in the studio or performing at venues around Los Angeles. The artist cites her mother as one of her biggest creative inspirations, as well as LA itself: “Naturally, my mother inspired me. Being in Los Angeles is motivating too, because I’m surrounded by people that are out here trying to achieve their dreams and goals every single day.”
